Mission Statement

The Forney Museum of Transportation is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that collects, preserves, and exhibits items of artistic, historical and technological interest relating to transportation for the purpose of education and enlightenment.

Description

The museum features 100s of artifacts from over 200 years of transportation history. Cars, trains, bikes, planes, carriages, buggies, snowmobile and sleighs, motorcycles, and more!

The most popular attractions include:

1 of only 8 surviving World's Largest Steam Engines, the Big Boy.

Amelia Earhart's first car.

A land, sea, and air vehicle called the Martin Air Car.
