The Minneapolis Parks Foundation helps ensure the economic, environmental, civic, and cultural health of Minneapolis and the region by creating the Next Generation of Parks (TM) that meet the demands and reflect the values of our generation and those to follow.

Description

The Minneapolis Parks Foundation is an independent 501c3 non-profit that builds on our world-class parks legacy and community tradition of public/private partnerships, especially the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board, to help ensure a healthy city and region through an enhanced system of parks.

The Minneapolis Parks Foundation specializes in urban design and city building and involves the private sector in envisioning, shaping and funding the Next Generation of Parks TM. MPF demands high standards for inspirational design and city building, delivers private support, partners with the public sector, and advocates for quality stewardship.
