The mission of South Side Settlement House is to build a community of culture and concern rooted in economic and social justice.

Description

South Side Settlement House founded in 1899 is one of the oldest settlements in Columbus, OH, Our goal is to help people deal with problems in their daily lives and to help them achieve their aspirations for a better future has not changed over the years.

SSSH is an interracial, muti curlural, non-profit non-sectarian social agency related to the Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church and a member agency of the United Way of Franklin County, the Columbus Federation of Settlements and the Neighborhood Centers of America.

Programs and Services include: Youth Programs i.e. Child Care and Preschool Enrichment, After School Programs including a teen group. We operate a residential summer camp, Triple S Camp and Summer Teen Camp. We have adult programming including daily free lunch, social work services including working with at-risk families. We offer Senior services, community revitalization group work, etc.
