Mission Statement

Crayons2Calculators’ (C2C) mission is to serve the educational and creative needs of students in Durham Public Schools by providing free school supplies to classroom teachers.

Description

C2C operates a warehouse store in Durham where teachers may "shop" for supplies. Teachers from 11 of the highest-need schools are invited to shop monthly to select $50-75 worth of supplies. Teachers from other schools are invited to giveaway events to select $100-125 of supplies throughout the year on a schedule determined by the schools’ free/reduced lunch population.
