Mission Statement

The mission of KidzCare USA, Inc. is to teach elementary and middle school aged children about the many needs that exist in our world, and to empower them to take action to help fill those needs through philanthropy and community service. Our goal is to help our children learn to cast their focus outward and to be of service to others, for it is by serving others that our own self-esteem is strengthened.

Description

At KidzCare USA, Inc., we believe that even the youngest children can make positive and lasting changes in our society if we help them to develop lifelong habits of service and giving. Although most children are now required to spend some time doing community service work during their high school years, we want kids to get excited about community service at a much younger age, and to carry that excitement forward into their high school years and beyond!

KidzCare USA, Inc. fulfills its mission through three programs:

1. Elementary classes

2. Middle school classes

3. One-day volunteer opportunities

Our weekly 2-hour classes are structured to provide a "lesson" component, a "service" component, and a "reflection" component, so that the students will be learning about a need and then immediately completing simple projects to help meet that need. We also offer ample opportunities for 1-day volunteer opportunities outside of class, which are open to all.
