West End Medical Centers, Inc. (WEMC), a Federally Qualified Community Health Center, has been providing primary health care services to the residents of southwest Atlanta, and its surrounding cities and counties since 1976. The Center serves as a solid foundation for bridging the gap that still exists in health care for poor people. WEMC remains true to its mission to improve access to health services for all that are at risk for poor health.

West End Medical Center has developed a strategic plan of health care delivery that emphasizes arrangements, partnerships and firm commitments with state and local governments, agencies, universities, hospitals, integrated networks, and public and private providers who share the Agency's commitment to improve the health status of populations at risk.
