Wildfires are devastating communities across California, causing more than 300,000 people to evacuate their homes and threatening many more. The Camp Fire in Northern California -- one of three blazing across the state -- is the most destructive in state history. The purpose of the Pinebelt Association for Families (P.A.F.F.) is to improve the quality of family life for people in southern Mississippi. P.A.F.F. is committed to non-duplication of community efforts and cost effective use of resources. P.A.F.F. is a membership organization with members drawn from the entire community, including individuals, families, churches, businesses, schools and existing charitable organizations. P.A.F.F. is committed to keeping the Mississippi Pinebelt "family-friendly."
We believe... • in supporting the growth and development of all family members ---the elderly, adults, youth, children, parents and non-parents. • that families are resources to their own members, to other families, to programs, and to the community. • that strong families and strong community go hand-in-hand. • that programs should be flexible and continually responsive to emerging family and community issues. • that a "family-friendly" community does not "just happen" but requires the efforts of the whole community working together.
