Our Mission is to provide an equestrian therapeutic environment for physically, mentally, and emotionally challenged Individuals; furthermore, to allow them to explore and achieve basic life functions to the best of their ability; and, to create a sense of freedom, independence and accomplishment which cannot be achieved or duplicated in the traditional therapeutic setting. We hope this helps us as volunteers and promotes others to grow in dedication and responsibility through providing equine activities and programs for individuals with special needs.
We are a PATH International Premier Accredited Center. We have been in operation under the state of Ohio as a charitable organization since 2008. Our students are from the ages of 3 & up who have physical, mental, environmental or cognitive disabilities. We have therapeutic mounted and dismounted programs. Our programs consist of therapeutic riding for the physically and mentally handicapped, veterans rehabilitation therapeutic riding and unmounted program, an at risk teens program mounted and unmounted, and Horse 101 riding for able body individuals.
We are always looking for good volunteers who want to work with our students and/or horses.
We have other oppertunities that do not include working with the horses or students. Please call to set up an interview with us at 740-872-3220.
We will sign off for volunteer hours when requested.
