COMMUNITY VENTURE FOUNDATION

Description

The Community Venture Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in July of 2015 by Startup Junkie Consulting. Our organization was formed to address the need for more free entrepreneurship initiatives in our community. We are committed to building the entrepreneurial community in Arkansas and our surrounding regions. Our goal is to improve the quality of life in the regions where we operate, by increasing the number of entrepreneurial opportunities and success stories. While our programs and services are avaialbel to everyone, we have a specific focus on underserved and minority communities in our area. All of our activities fall within one or more of three focus areas:

1. Entrepreneurship Education: We provide free entrepreneurship education programs to our community. Many are targeted toward women, girls, and youth.

2. Engaging Entrepreneurs: We provide mentoring, training, and consulting for entrepreneurs and small business leaders, as well as strategic support and consulting for local nonprofit organizations and social ventures.

3. Supporting Existing Efforts: We partner with other organizations in our region that are also focused on building the entrepreneurial community, including Startup Junkie Consulting and Hayseed Ventures.
