Description

First Nations Community HealthSource's Youth Mentoring Program is focused on facilitating a supportive mentor relationship between a caring adult and a child ages 4 to 18 years within the Albuquerque area.

A mentor’s commitment can change a child’s life and promote positive development with cultural awareness in many ways including:

  • Increased school attendance
  • Higher grades
  • Increased self-esteem and confidence
  • Stronger and healthier family and community relationships
