Mission Statement

To meet the need for ongoing coordination in Immokalee, Collier County, Florida providing support for people whose lives have been impacted by a local disaster. I HOPE will provide collaborative leadership for planning, recovery, mitigation and advocacy for people in this community.

Description

We provide help rebuilding or repairing homes damaged in disasters, as well as doing some infill rebuilding projects in the blighted areas of this small farming community. Immokalee is over 75% low income so the need is great. Hurricane Wilma went through in October of 2005 and we are still repairing/rebuilding homes from that.
