Mission Statement

Hospice Program Mission Statement: In order to provide patient-centered care, we attend to the body, mind and spirit of our patients, calling on their strengths, and supporting them in the final stages of life. We acknowledge the hopes, fears, values and goals of our patients and their families.

Description

Kaiser Permanente’s Hospice Volunteer Program offers empathetic, nonjudgmental support and services to hospice patients and their caregivers. We carefully screen and train our hospice volunteers, who perform duties that supplement but do not substitute for professional services.
