SADDLE UP WITH ARIZONA EQUINE RESCUE ORGANIZATION, INC. FOR THE FIRST NATIONAL RIDEATHON / WALKATHON

Horse lovers from across the country are stampeding to join the National Rescue Ride on 10/19/2008. Fifty charities from more than 35 states have answered the call to help raise funds and awareness for neglected, abused and unwanted horses across the country and Arizona Equine Rescue Organization, Inc. is one of them.

Similar to a walkathon, the NRR will bring together thousands of riders and walkers across the country to make a difference. Rider/walker registration is already trotting along to make history for the first national equine effort to help America's charities help horses.

Riders and walkers interested in joining the effort can go to the site, register and choose Arizona Equine Rescue Organization, Inc. as the charity to ride/walk with.

The ride/walk is being held at Cave Creek Outfitters in Rio Verde Tonto National Forest 8am. They can print their sponsorship form and start signing on friends and family to support their effort in the ride. All funds will go to the charity but the free T-shirt will go to the rider/walker.

There are prizes for raising the most funds as individuals, or if they ride with a club. And check the website about other activities at the ride to make for a great day!
So on Sunday, October 19, 2008, in the saddle or in your sneakers, join us to help America's abused, neglected and unwanted horses by being a part of the National Rescue Ride!
