Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide safe shelter for a diverse community of homeless women, particularly those most vulnerable. We strive to create an environment of dignity, respect and compassion. We recognize the intrinsic value of every woman and honor her unique experience.

Every year, Hope House shelter opens its doors to hundreds of homeless women, many with mental health or chemical dependency issues, and all with nowhere else to go. We offer women (18 & older), a safe place to sleep, eat and shower, regardless of chemical dependency issues, mental health issues or lifestyle. Hope House also operates a permanent, supportive housing program with 25 on-site apartments. The residential program offers opportunities for permanent housing, case management and support for women wishing to address the issues that led to their homelessness.
