Mission Statement

"The mission of the City of Clare Recreation Department is to contribute to the positive development and well being of the community through leadership and the provision of parks, trails, and recreational facilities. This will be accomplished through partnership and cooperation with other recreation service providers in the community in order to maximize all available resources. The driving focus of Parks and Recreation is to encourage health, fitness, cultural, recreational, educational, and social opportunities in our community."

Description

The Recreation Department is responsible for creating and implementing recreation programs and services to meet identified needs of groups within the city of Clare and for coordinating city efforts with sports and recreation partner organizations that are providing recreation services for the community.

The Recreation Department is committed to offering quality programs to all residents of the City.
