CGC is a not-for-profit housing and community development organization, whose mission is to solve homelessness through innovative programs that transform people, buildings and communities. Our strategy involves the creation of new forms of affordable housing with supportive services in a community setting, and the sharing of successful approaches with others.

Description

CGC was formed in 1990 to transform damaged, underutilized spaces into stable homes and supportive communities in the belief that a home is the essential first step in overcoming homelessness. Our work goes beyond meeting basic needs to address the whole person in an ongoing, respectful and inclusive way. Our commitment is to the most vulnerable and those who have been the most overlooked.
