The mission of the NOMRC is to be a diverse group of committed volunteers with skills and expertise to supplement public health emergency preparedness and response efforts in New Orleans.

Description

The New Orleans Medical Reserve Corps (NOMRC) provides a mechanism for civic-minded individuals to train and prepare for a p ublic health emergency. This group of volunteers provides a pool of resources available to supplement the local emergency responders in Orleans Parish to assist in mass prophylaxis/vaccination clinics, emergency shelters and other public health outreach efforts.
