Mission Statement
SnowCap Community Charities is a philanthropic organization created to provide food, clothing, advocacy and other services to our neighbors in need.
Description
Do you believe in the power of neighbors helping neighbors? Do you have a passion to help human beings currently in need. If so, SnowCap is for you! We need your help to better serve the over 11,00 people we feed and clothe monthly. We are so excited for you to be a part of the SnowCap magic.
How does SnowCap help? SnowCap helps with food, clothing and other basic human needs. We serve people who live east of 82nd avenue and within Multnomah County:- Currently distributing pre-packed boxes and as much fresh/frozen foods as possible. Families are welcome to come 2x per month.
- Clothes for the whole family, currently it is open by appointment and families are welcome once a month
- Community Garden for low-income families to raise their own vegetables in raised beds.
SnowCap relies HEAVILY on its volunteers on a day-to-day basis. Employees and volunteers work together to ensure our mission is followed daily.
