Description

To achieve our Mission , our program introduces transitional and at-risk young adults to construction fundamentals and basic office skills as vehicles to promote transferable life skills. In actual workshop and classroom environments the young adults are introduced to small and power hand tools, actually build functional wood products, learn typing and office skills and are exposed to the fundamental elements of accounting, market planning, sales and the components of entrepreneurship. Specifically the Program consists of 3 elements:

• The basic Job Readiness Program provides the basic skill sets that prepare young adults to find, hold and succeed with employment.

• A supportive employment program introduces the importance of a safe and secure workplace and the culture of employability and job stability.

• · A life skills training program element then trains the young adults in positive qualities and helps build character
