Description

Volunteers in Education (VinE) is a nonprofit organization in Northern Minnesota dedicated to helping local students excell, which in turn benefits the entire community. VinE volunteers tutor elementary stuents in the South Ridge, Northeast Range, Northwoods, Tower/Soudan, Cherry, and Eveleth/Gilbert schools. Volunteers may work with an individual student or a small group, depending on classroom needs. Our tutors range in age from 15-84. Whether you are a high school student looking for volunteer opportunities, a middle aged person with a free hour in the afternoon, or a retired person looking to give back to your community, VinE has a place for you.
