The UNC Hospitals Volunteer Association supports the vision and values of UNC Healthcare's Mission Statement.

The UNC Hospitals Volunter Association is an organized part of the Hospital and exists to advance the objectives and interests of the patients and the Hospital through the Director of Volunteer Services by:

* providing services in a volunteer capacity

* providing resources through approved fund-raising activities

* providing better community understanding of the Hosptial's programs and goals

Our many volunteers play an integral role in delivering first-class health care to you, your family, and the entire state of North Carolina.

UNC Hospitals offers three categories of volunteers: Adult, College Student and High School (age 14-18). Please review the volunteer opportunities available throughout the medical center to see which area is of interest to you.
