As God enables us, we will reach the unchurched of our city by providing spiritual structures for families, witnessing, teaching, serving, and nurturing followers in becoming fully-devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

Our ministry will:

  • Provide a means of access to a "new life and revelation" that provides restoration to all age groups and races.
  • Put our mission to reach the "unchurched" as a priority.
  • Provide ministries/outreach efforts to both urban and rural areas that cater to their individual need.

Description

The New Revelation Baptist Church of Hutto is a ministry that will provide outreach services to the Hutto Community, providing a means of access to a "new life and revelation" that provides restoration to all age groups and races.

Current Project - Gospel Fest - August 23, 2008 @ Fritz Park Hutto, Texas from 11:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Faithfully, we believe that the love God does not stop at the walls of the church. We believe that one of the most effective ways to serve God is to outreach to those on the outside of the church walls. Though we are in the initial stage of formation, the Outreach Ministry will serve the community by providing services in the following areas: Food Pantry : The New Revelation Food Pantry will pack food bags once a month and deliver to needy families in the Hutto area. This ministry will be supported by volunteers will help pack the bags, make food or financial donations directly to the New Revelation Outreach Ministry. The church will operate a food pantry on Saturdays from 10am - noon that serves predominantly low-income families who live in the Hutto community, some of whom are homeless. Counseling : The New Revelation Ministry will provide counseling during times of crisis. The ministry will provide counseling in the following areas: of marriage, loss, sickness, family issues, and addictions. Worship on Wheels : The ministry that will provide outreach services to the community by visiting sick and shut-in as a result of illness or physical ailment. Visits may take place at a home, nursing home, hospital, or rehabilitation facility. Visitation will vary. Mission in Possible Project of Rescue (MIPPOR) This is a homeless outreach service that will contact homeless people living on the streets and offers them access to appropriate services. There will be several other outreach areas that we will provide service in the near future such as tutoring, transportation services for doctor's appointments... and home restoration through the Habitat of Humanity involvement.
