Mission Statement

The mission of New Mexico Human Rights Projects is to fight discrimination and youth violence through educational programs that improve understanding and mutual respect among all people.

Description

NMHRP programs serce to expand the horizons of middle and high school students, challenging youth to think critically about the choices they make when confronted with all forms of discrimination, to assume greater responsibility for their actions, to recognize and reject all forms of prejudice and violence, and to deal more compassionately with others.

NMHRP educates and trains students and teachers for a more respoectul, peaceful society.
