The program mission is to use hippotherapy (therapy with the aid of a horse) and/or adaptive riding to achieve emotional, mental and physical benefits for the developmentally and physically disabled, as well as the disadvantaged youth of the community.
ROSL is a comprehensive therapy, conditioning and learning non-profit organization serving adults and children with diagnosed disabilities. Our main goal is to make sustaining and substantial quality of life improvements for each individual we serve. ROSL uses the movement of the horse to provide physical, emotional, mentla and spiritual benefits for those we serve.
ROSL serves the disadvantaged youth and children and adults with diagnosed physical, cognitive and/or emotional disabilities and conditions that may include: amputations, autism, brain injuries, cerebral palsy, cardiovascular, accident/stroke, down syndrome, emotional disabilities, mental retardation, hearing impairments, learning disabilities, spina bifida, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, post polio, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injury (TBI), blind/vision impaired.
