Description

YES AmeriCorps is a multigenerational, multi-site Corps that assists at-risk youth, strengthens students in the community and trains the elderly/vulnerable in disaster preparedness. Members are placed at service sites, such as schools, nonprofit and faith-based organizations and public safety agencies throughout the La Crosse area and surrounding communities. YES AmeriCorps is administered by Workforce Connections, Inc., an employment/training organization for disadvantaged youth, adults and dislocated workers in an eight county region in western Wisconsin.
