Career Gear provides interview clothing for low-income men who are graduating from job-readiness programs. We provide ongoing support to our alumni with monthly seminars in budgeting, saving and investing, time managment, conflict/ resolution in the workplace and how to move ahead now that you're working.

Just finished a wonderful 4 month stint writing grants for Career Gear. It is a great organization, with caring, intelligent staff and a truly worthy mission. From the day I arrived, they were welcoming, respectful, and sensitive to my own career goals. I found a way to help people in need, a worthwhile way to add skills to my resume, and formed lasting friendships. They can use help in many facets of the operation, so volunteer at Career Gear!
