Mission Statement

The Safe Haven Animal Shelter of Northwest Iowa is dedicated to providing a safe and loving environment to animals who are lost, abandoned, hurt or unwanted, without the possibility of euthanasia for space, convenience or length of stay while they wait for their forever home.

Description

We are a no-kill animal shelter serving northwest Iowa. Founded in 2010, the shelter first operated in downtown Pocahontas and moved to it's current location in September 2012.
