Mission Statement

The Humane Society of Henderson County is dedicated to elimination of cruelty, neglect, abuse and abandonment of domestic animals in Henderson County. We will achieve this mission through various programs and services with an emphasis on reducing pet overpopulation.

Description

We are a small Humane Society in northwestern Kentucky. We handle approximately 2700 animals per year. We receive limited funding from the local government for animal control services for Henderson County. All funding for the Humane Society, including the care, welfare, and placement of animals in new homes comes from public donations and grants.
