Long Island Fair

Description

The Long Island Fair, now in its 172nd year, is a typical county fair, the difference being that we present it as it occurred in the 19th century on Long Island. Volunteers can sell toys, donuts, peanuts, pumpkins & apples, take care of farm animals and help at the wagon rides and carousel.They can assist at corn husking contests and games of skill There are exhibits of prize- winning crafts, flowers and vegetables and baked goods that need to be looked after. The entire fair is staffed by volunteers.
