Mission Statement

The mission of The Arthur Home is to be responsive to the needs of and to span the continuum of care for the elderly residents of our local rural communities. We seek to establish and promote a culture of aging that is life affirming, compassionate and meaningful.

Description

The Arthur Home is a rural, fully licensed, community-based nursing home in east central, Illinois. Through an array of community efforts, our current 69 bed facility was opened in 1959. The opening of The Arthur Home brought high quality skilled nursing care to our area rural communities. Today our vision continues and includes developing much needed viable and sustainable community based senior care programs. The Home is currently expending its continuun of care services with the construction of the Eberhardt Village, a 36 apartment unit assisted living facility scheduled to open in July 2008.
