Wabash Valley Habitat for Humanity

Mission Statement

Wabash Valley habitat for Humanity is the local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a not-for-profit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry seeking to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the Wabash Valley and around the world making decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. Through community volunteers and in-kind donations, Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with people in need to build affordable houses. The houses then are sold to those in need at no profit and with no interest charged. It is the mission of Habitat for Humanity to eradicate substandard housing and to make sure everybody has a safe, decent, affordable home to live in.
