Match low-income senior citizens with community service opportunities, helping children in schools, Head Start centers, and child care centers.

Description

Sponsored by Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas, the Foster Grandparent Program involves seniors ages 55 and over who meet income guidelines in community service work. They work an average of 15-40 hours per week with children and receive a small stipend which is non-taxable.
