Mission Statement

The Adult Literacy Program provides free education to adults via volunteer tutoring to acquire functional literacy in reading, writing and math to achieve personal academic goals.

Description

The Cumberland Adult Reading Council offers free one-on-one tutoring to adults who need help in basic reading, writing and math skills. Founded in 2005, tutoring and small group sessions are available free of charge to the students.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
