The purpose of this non-profit organization is to offer understanding to each member, be mutually sensitive, provide inspiration, give support, and share information. Additional goals are to educate the general public in the area of mental health, to actively advocate for recognition for mental health programs, and to seek legislation to aid the mentally ill.

NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals with mental illness and their families through support, education and advocacy. We are a volunteer organization that provides information and hope.
