Mission Statement

To cure Leukemia, Lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, and Myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Description

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has three major parts. One of them is the Light The Night Walk, which is a non-competitive 2 mile walk where participants carry illuminated balloons and raise money to help with the society's mission. Another part is Team and Training, team and training is doing a walk/run marathon this year they will be doing marathons in Hawaii, Alaska, Disney World, and Phoenix. The participant raises money and trains with other individuals in their area. One of the major functions of The Leukemia & Lymphoma society is Patient Services. Patient Services works to educate individuals and families on their new blood cancer diagnosis, organizaes support groups, and helps with financial aid for patients.
