Mission Statement The primary purpose of Serenity Incorporated is to provide a comprehensive system of support to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Serenity assists victims of domestic violence by empowering them to assume control over their own lives, to foster respect and equality in all relationships and to change community attitudes and social structures that perpetuate violence.

Description

Serenity, Inc. is a domestic violence program which supports victims of domestic violence and sexual assault with needed shelter, advocacy, referrals, and needed clothing and household supplies. We are forward thinking and encourage our clients to look forward and not drag the chains of victim behind them. We empower clients by providing them opportunities for learning self-improvement techniques, esteem building, education (GED, College or Certificate Programs) and survivor centered advocacy. Our program is not a place to feel sorry for, but rather to celebrate the strength the residents have for being able to leave a bad situation. We pride ourselves on being an asset to the community and for our efforts to bring the peace to those in need.
