VISION STATEMENT - NYSARC, Inc., Broome-Tioga Chapter (dba ACHIEVE) will be the selected resource recognized for providing premiere services to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities and their families as evidenced by outstanding participant satisfaction.
MISSION STATEMENT - The mission of the NYSARC, Inc., Broome-Tioga Chapter (dba ACHIEVE) is to provide leadership, advocacy and opportunities, which enable persons with intellectual and other developmental disabilities and their families to enhance the quality of their lives.
Description
ACHIEVE is a private, not-for-profit organization founded by parents and friends of the intellectually and developmentally disabled. To meet the needs of these individuals, ACHIEVE provides a comprehensive continuum of services, offering a full range of Summer, Day, Residential, and Family Support programs to individuals and their families throughout Broome and Tioga Counties. Locally, Achieve serves over one thousand individuals and families. Our Agency takes great pride in providing services that are of the highest quality, teaching new skills to enhance and enrich the lives of individuals in our program, and assist them in living as independently as possible in their communities.
ACHIEVE offers excellent career opportunities and benefit package for entry level, experienced, and professional applicants. For those with limited working hours, we have positions in Broome and Tioga Counties for part-time, on-call workers. Our six-week Summer Program gives teens and young adults working experience with individuals with disabilities. Volunteers enhance the services ACHIEVE provides with their assistance.
