Description

The Floating Hospital is New York City's largest provider of primary medical, dental and mental healthcare to homeless families and families living in domestic violence safe houses. We provide services regardless of financial, insurance or legal status. We were founded in 1866 making us one of New York City's oldest healthcare charities. We also operate an extensive transportation network, picking up and returning patients who otherwise would not have access to healthcare.
