Description

One of the oldest black institutions in the Brooklyn-Long Island area, Bridge Street is a mid-size intergenerational congregation located in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn with 250 years of activism and social justice work in downtown and central Brooklyn areas. While located downtown Brooklyn Bridge Street was a stop on the Underground Railroad and that location has been declared a historical site.
