Description

Hospice is a special form of care that is designed to provide comfort and support for those who are facing life-limiting illness. It is a compassionate form of caring that promotes dignity and affirms quality of life for the patient, family members and their loved ones.

A hospice volunteer is a special part of the hospice team. They are people who wish to make difference in the lives of the terminally ill or those who are grieving by giving their time to assist a patient, family members or the office staff.
