Description

From minor scrapes to major illnesses, Children's Hospital Oakland and Research Center at Oakland meets the medical and developmental needs of all kids--from premature infants to teenagers--with expertise in 30 pediatric subspecialties from adolescent medicine to urology. With a staff of 2,200+ employees specially trained to meet the unique needs of children and their families, Children's is both a regional referral center and a medical safety net for East Bay kids, with more than 176,00 visits each year from patients throughout California and other states and countries. Children's is northern California's only pediatric trauma center.
