Mission Statement

The Mission of Louisiana CASA Association is to support local programs in their efforts to ensure that abused and neglected children in the Louisiana legal system have a competent and caring volunteer advocate through quality, local CASA programs.

Description

You have to be at least 21 years of age. A complete backgroud check is done and Child Protection Services back ground check is done. Have to complete 30 hours of training. Once all background checks are cleared, you are assingend to a case and you must visit the child at least once a month. It also requires you to do 10 to 15 hours of contact. This includes phone calls as well.

I would recommend this organization to a friend because I know how it feels to be neglected, abused, ect. as a child. I was in foster care for seven years before I was adopted. Now, I have kids of my own and all I would like to see is children all around the world with smiling faces.
