Mission Statement

Northeast Community Cycles is a nonprofit, community initiative dedicated to providing safe, refurbished bicycles free of charge to underprivileged children and adults in Fairfield County, CT. Through improved mobility and self-empowerment, our bicycles change lives forever by increasing access to employment, education, health care and a healthier life style.

Description

Northeast Community Cycles is a non-profit community initiative in Stamford, CT. We collect donated adult and children's bicycles from the community, refurbish them and give them away FREE along with a NEW helmet to local charities. Homeless shelters, boys and girls clubs, veteran's homes, refugee organizations and public schools are among the many charities that are listed on our website. To date we have given away over 2500 bicycles to those in need.
