To provide values-based, low barrier, sustainable, and high-quality homeless shelters, services, and solutions.

Description

United Caring Services is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization - a homeless shelter and services agency - that provides people in need access to crisis stabilization services through six programs: a day shelter (drop-in center) for men, women, and children, emergency shelters for single men and women, additional "white/red flag" emergency shelter during inclement weather, an innovative homeless medical respite for men and women, and 21 low income studio apartments. We strive to be a true Community of Caring for all people.

This organization is a gift to the Evansville community. There are several ways to help out at UCS - cooking meals for the homeless, organizing donations, or helping with events and fundraisers for the organization. When working with staff, it is apparent that everyone in this organization is passionate about helping the homeless and providing anything needed to this community.
