The Bodhi Tree Foundation is a NY-based non-profit travel foundation founded in 2009 whose mission is to galvanize and unite the travel community to preserve cultural heritage, help people in need and conserve our planet’s biodiversity.

Description

The Bodhi Tree Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to mobilizing travelers and the travel and tourism industry to support underserved communities and endangered places, saving them for future generations to experience. Founded in 2009, The Foundation identifies and nurtures the most effective grassroots charitable initiatives around the world.

About S.A.F.E.
S.A.F.E. (Safeguarding A Future for Africa’s Elephants) is a travel industry campaign by The Bodhi Tree Foundation launched in January 2014 in response to the alarming rise of elephant poaching for ivory in Africa. Its mission is to mobilize and unite the travel community to raise awareness, educate travelers and provide critical support to field-level elephant conservation projects throughout Africa and Asia.
