The MAMA Foundation

Description

The M.A.M.A. Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization established to empower the single mother for tomorrow. Our foundation will provide resources, guidance, and direction on the road to empowerment. Established March 2015, founders Joseph L. Ramirez and Pedro D. Valencia formed The M.A.M.A. Foundation. (The Mary and Aminta, Mothers and Angels Foundation) The foundation was created in memory of their mothers Aminta Alegria Valencia from Buenaventura, Columbia, and Mary B. Arellano Rendon from San Antonio, TX. Both women faced uphill battles everyday of their lives, both loved their families, loved God, and left the world entirely too soon. Both leave behind a legacy of love, compassion, and hard work which we will pass on to other single mothers through our foundation.
