Mission Statement

Church on the Hill is a non-denominational Christian ministry and faith-based prayer outreach committed to meeting both the professional and spiritual needs of the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area congressional members (and their staff). As a para-church Corporation, we assist the local church with building spiritual leaders. Opportunities for Christian fellowship, leadership and "body and mind" health seminars (which are compatible with work schedules, and spiritual support networking) are offered throughout the year.

Description

The Church on the Hill is a non-denominational growing church that began as the "Christian Fellowship" (January 1995) at the Rayburn House Office Bldg., Washington, D.C. Congressman Bill Goodling (PA) was our initial Sponsor. He retired around November 2000. Thereafter, former Congressman Albert R. Wynn (D-MD) was our Congressional Sponsor (2000-2008). Currently, Congresswoman Donna Edwards (D-MD) is our Congressional Sponsor.

We conducted our first Church on the Hill Sunday worship service in November ’95. Since that time, we are proud of our other accomplishments throughout the years! We have developed the following ministries:

a) Business Development (NNCMW) b) Intercessory Prayer

c) Women’s Ministry d) "Body & Mind Seminars: A Healthier You."

I serve as the Pastor of the Church on the Hill and President of the

National Network (NNCMW).
