Lower Mississippi Delta Service Corps

Description

The Lower Mississippi Delta Service Corps is a bi-state initiative linked by the national AmeriCorps community service program. Members are united by three common goals: Needs and Services (Members engage in direct and domonstrative service that helps solve community problems in areas of education, public safety, environment, and other human needs.), Member Development (Members are able to explore and exercise their responsiblities toward their communities, their families, and themselves through educational opportunities, job experience, and life skills), and Strengthening Communities (By bringing together Americans of all ages and backgrounds in the common effort to improve our communities.)
