Mission Statement

The mission for New England Homes for the Deaf is to provide communication, accessible housing, health care, social support, and recreational activities for needy elders who are deaf and Deaf-blind. Priority is given to those who are either born Deaf or deafened prior to the acquisition of language who, because of advanced age, economic, social and/or physical constraints will most benefit from the unique linguistice and cultural support offered through the NEHD residential and community based programs
