Lilo's Promise Animal Rescue is a non-profit animal welfare organization established in 2006. We are run by a group of dedicated volunteers who provide love, veterinary care, obedience training, socialization and safe housing for homeless dogs. We focus on the dogs at risk in our local kill shelters. Dogs taken in to LPAR will stay with us until their forever homes are found, no matter how long that may be. We believe no matter the breed, background, age or disability, all animals deserve a second chance - or as we prefer to say - a new beginning. Each animal we rescue has a special place in our hearts. Our goal is to make the best match possible for our dogs and those looking to adopt a new family member. Lilo's Promise conducts community educational programs emphasizing the importance of spay/neuter, obedience training, advocating against Breed Specific Legislation and the joy of adopting a homeless companion.
